The Readiness Review · For families expanding or relocating

Your family moved countries.
Did your arrangements keep up?

A private review of how your business, wealth and family are prepared for what comes next.

When it’s worth a closer look

When family life moves countries

  • Moving to the UAE

Residence has changed, but companies, trusts and wills may still assume the old country.

  • Children studying or settling abroad

The next generation may end up under different rules from their parents.

  • Buying property or investing overseas

New assets bring new questions about who owns them and how they pass on.

The outcome

After the review, you’ll know

Specific to your situation, and agreed in scope before the work begins.

  1. Which arrangements still fit the countries you now live and invest in.

  2. Where cross-border questions need specialist advice.

  3. What to update first, and who should be involved.

What you receive

Clarity you can use for the next decision

  • Connected overview

How the relevant businesses, assets, ownership arrangements and family responsibilities fit together.

  • Readiness findings

Gaps, dependencies and unanswered questions that could affect continuity or future plans.

  • Prioritised action plan

What needs attention, which decisions come first, and where existing advisors or specialists should be involved.

Scope is agreed at the outset. Implementation and specialist advice are defined separately.

How it works

A standalone starting point

  1. Agree the scope

Discuss your circumstances, the questions to explore and who should take part.

  2. Bring the picture together

Review the agreed information, involving your existing advisors where useful.

  3. Decide what comes next

Discuss the findings and whether further work would add value.

Specialist implementation and principal counsel on retainer are separate engagements. Neither is a condition of the review.

Common questions

We’ve already moved. Is it too late?

No. The review looks at the arrangements you have now and where they no longer fit, whenever the move happened.

Can our existing advisors be involved?

Yes. We work alongside your existing advisors and agree who is involved as part of the scope.

What does it cost, and how long does it take?

Fees, timing and deliverables are agreed with you before any work begins, based on the size and complexity of your arrangements.

How is our information handled?

We agree how documents will be shared before any detailed information is exchanged. Your first message only needs a general outline.

The next step
